Keith Siegel, 65 years old, married to Aviva, a proud father of four children, and a devoted and loving grandfather to five grandchildren.

In his twenties, Keith visited Israel and met Aviva, and the two decided to get married. Keith immigrated to Israel.

Keith and Aviva were looking for a young kibbutz with families and children, and they found Kfar Azza, which was everything they were looking for. There, they raised their family and lived a good and simple life for the past forty years.

Professionally, Keith is a therapist and an enthusiast of "The Rolling Stones" band. He loves nature, family dinners, quality time with his grandchildren, and is a family-oriented person.

On the morning of October 7th, like many others, Aviva and Keith woke up to the terror attack by Hamas. After four hours of confusion and lack of understanding of what was happening, Hamas terrorists broke into their home, which was their safe and secure place.

According to their neighbor, who witnessed the abduction moment, Keith and Aviva were kidnapped from their home with cruelty, barbarism, and utter brutality by Hamas terrorists while they were helpless against them.

A few days later, Hamas released a video through the Telegram app showing Keith and Aviva inside their car being threatened from all directions by Hamas terrorists and transferred into the Gaza Strip.

On November 26th, Aviva was released from Hamas captivity as part of a prisoner exchange and temporary ceasefire. Following her release from Hamas captivity, Aviva recounted that during their abduction by Hamas terrorists, they shot Keith in his hand, threw him forcefully onto the floor, thus breaking his ribs, which led to long weeks of suffering without receiving medical treatment.

Today, Aviva and the entire family are fighting for Keith's release and for the release of all the kidnapped individuals who are still held in Gaza. Aviva shares her horrifying testimony everywhere and in front of any governmental or civilian body willing to listen. Aviva knows exactly what is happening there and the urgency to bring everyone back. As far as she's concerned, until all the kidnapped individuals return, she is on a life mission.

YOUR LETTERS

FROM: Avital and Amitai Carmi.

Dear Family,

Our hearts are with you in this time of deep sorrow. Aviva, the children, and the grandchildren.

Both our father and our son fought in Gaza and felt the high spirit of everyone fighting for your father and all the other hostages.

We pray for Keith’s well-being, healing, and safe return.

Every photo reflects his qualities and nobility, his love for his family, and his warm heart.

We will continue to act and pray.

Hoping for good news soon.

FROM: Emuna Bienstock.

Dear Keith,

I am praying for your return. I am dedicating my Torah study for your speedy return. May God grant you mental and physical health, and may you recover from the ordeal. You are a hero! I am waiting for your return and will not stop praying and doing everything I can for your return and for the return of all the hostages. Amen!

FROM: Etti vered - moyal.

My name is Etti Vered Moyal. I met Keith about 25 years ago. We worked together for several years in parallel roles at an international pharmaceutical company. I was fortunate to know a kind, gentle-hearted person, a fascinating conversationalist, a caring and accepting individual, devoid of ego—a true mensch!

Since October 7th, not a day has gone by without me thinking of him and praying for his return. I find it unimaginable that someone like him (and a hundred others) are being held in Gaza for so long without reuniting with their families.

I stand with you in your fight for his return!
